A lovely blend of sweet & tart for those hot summer days,
Refresh. Refuel. Rehydrate. The natural way!
I have fond memories of my mom making this drink for my siblings and I on hot summer days. She would make multiple jugs of it. That may sound like a lot but there were nine of us and it never seemed like there was enough! I loved to put my cup in the freezer to turn it into a nice slushy. Now I’m the one making it for my child, how time flies!
This is an easy to make, super refreshing drink to have in the summer. Just 3 ingredients plus a cup of water gives you this hydrating combo of sweet and tart. But it’s not just refreshing, having watermelon limeade is a great way to replenish lost electrolytes on a hot summer day without resorting to sugary drinks chock full of unnecessary ingredients.
