This powerhouse green smoothie will always be a part of my pregnancy. When Haydar was going through cancer I was pregnant with Saleh and I remember waking up every morning at 6 am to make him this smoothie recommended by his holistic doctor. It was enough for us both and that’s how it became a part of my pregnancy diet. Probably one of the best things that came out of him having cancer. So it only made sense for me to incorporate this into my diet for pregnancy #2. It’s such a feel good drink packed with nutrients from wholesome ingredients like apples, kale, spinach, celery, cucumber, parsley, ginger, lemon, and pineapple. If you want to take this nutritious drink to the next level just add a teaspoon of wheatgrass to top it off. Like your smoothie a little on the sweeter side? Add a bit of raw honey to the mix.
